Welcome to Columbus State University! As a new Cougar, you'll be required to experience new student orientation. Below are the descriptions of the programs that we offer. Please review and select the one that best fits your enrollment status.

Freshman Orientation is for all first year traditional students. This includes students transferring in less than thirty hours from another institution.
- West Point Orientation is for students planning to take classes at the West Point Site.

Students transferring in with more than thirty hours should sign up for the on-line orientation.
- After you attend orientation, student leaders will direct you to your academic adviser, who will discuss curriculum requirements and ultimately guide you through online registration.
Important Notes
- Orientation is for accepted students only.
- Your orientation fees must be received prior to your orientation date.
- A $30.00 late fee will be added to orientation costs if payment is not received prior to attending orientation.
- Guests are welcome, bring parents or spouse!
- Freshmen who miss orientation will have to register for courses later and be subject to a late fee.
